ex ex ex

An "ex" is called an "ex"

because it's an EX--ample

of what you shouldn't have again

in the future.

contentment

If we allow our relationship to be threatened by someone who can offer us something better, then all of us would be miserable because there could always be better partners than the ones we have now. It eventually becomes a matter of contentment. Let us try to make our relationship work even if at times we lose our interest in it. Being blessed is not always about finding someone new to love but being able to continue to love someone we've always had.

love the imperfections

You may find your partner boring so you will try to look for someone else, someone new, someone better. then you got a new partner and you realized that the old partner you thought was boring is the best you ever had.

What's the lesson?
LOVE THE IMPERFECTIONS.

someone smiles

You yearn for someone not because you want to be complete.

But because you want to add more color to your life.

That person must not necessarily break through your busy schedules.

That person must inspire you to manage your time well instead.

You see, it's not a matter of distance and time,

it's more like friendship in a higher level.

It's smiling alone every once in a while.

Knowing that somewhere,

somehow,

someone smiles at the thought of you.

unless you love pain

There's nothing better than to love and be loved in return.

Unrequited love are for fools.

Why pine over someone if it makes you miserable?

Appreciating oneself is the first step to finding a good love.

if you love me then...

Although it is true that a big part of love
is putting another person's
happiness ahead of your own
this never includes compromising your values
or being untrue to yourself.

doesn't mean...

Just because one person doesn’t seem to care for you

Doesn’t mean that you should forget about everyone else who does.

maybe a happy ending...

Maybe a happy ending doesn’t include someone.

Maybe it’s you on your own, picking up the pieces and starting over…

Freeing yourself up for something better in the future.

Maybe the happy ending is just moving on.

Or maybe the happy ending is this:

Knowing that after all

the unreturned calls,

broken hearts,

through the blunders

and misread signals

through all the pain

and embarrassment,

you never gave up

HOPE.

on wishing and waiting

We grow old and suddenly we want to hurry things.

Don’t commit when you’re not ready.

To fulfill your parenting fantasies, get a cat or a puppy.

Don’t bring another life into this world for all the wrong reasons.

To keep yourself warm, buy a jacket.

In the long run, it will be less complicated and costly.

Take care of yourself.

Don’t wait for someone to take care of you.

No one completes you- except you.

Someday someone may come along and love you the way you’ve always dream of

but for the meantime rely on yourself.

Being independent would give you more time to love yourself

And would give you the opportunity to search for your own happiness without relying

on wishing and waiting.

the difference between love and attraction

A guy had a crush on this girl, he follows her whenever she goes.

One day the girl noticed and asked the guy…

Girl: Why do you keep on following me???

Guy: Because you’re so pretty and I think I am falling for you.

Girl: Really? But you haven’t met my friend yet, she’s prettier than me and she’s at your back.

The guy turned his back but no one was there.

Guy: Are you making fun of me? Nobody’s there…

Girl: No, but if you really love me you won’t look back.

To love the ordinary

Anyone can love a rose, but it takes a great deal to love a leaf.

it is ordinary to love the beautiful,

but it is beautiful to love the ordinary.

Relationships of all kinds

Relationships of all kinds

are like sand

held in your hand.

Held loosely,

with an open hand,

the sand remains

where it is.

The minute you close your hand

and squeeze tightly to hold on,

the sand trickles

through your fingers.

You may hold on to some of it,

but most will be spilled.

A relationship is like that.

Held loosely,

with respect

and freedom

for the other person,

it is likely to remain intact.

But hold too tightly,

too possessively,

and the relationship slips away

and is lost.

your choice

A boy asked his girl…

Boy: What if I broke your trust someday?

Girl just replied…

“Trusting you was

my decision

and

proving me right is

your choice…”

Since she's my rose.

One couldn't die for you.

Of course an ordinary passerby would think my rose looked just like you.

But my rose,

all on her own,

is more important than you altogether,

since she's the one I've watered.

Since she's the one I put under glass.

Since she's the one I sheltered behind a screen.

Since she's the one for whom I killed the caterpillars (except for two or three for butterflies).

Since she's the one I listened to when she complained,

or when she boasted,

or even sometimes when she said nothing at all.

Since she's my rose.

when it's time

It's hard to run from a feeling that hunts you every now and then, painful to tell your heart that you don't need it. You keep on pretending that you are better to be alone, when in fact you feel so empty. But why take chances if you see no hope? Why try if there's nothing to win for? Sometimes it pays to wait, never hurry, let infatuation die a natural deathand give birth to true love...

when it's time.

indeed, true love waits...

A guy who truly loves his girl

doesn't need to unbutton her shirt

just to see a better view of her heart..

even without music

Don’t find someone

Who could simply sing your music or who could paint colors on you..

Rather,

find someone that CANNOT dance but who’s

willing to dance

with you

even with or

without

MUSIC..

doesn't end where heartaches begin

Remember that you cannot be a redeemer all your life. The best way to weigh a Relationship is out it in the test of fire. Remember, we all fall and make wrong decisions but our blunders are meant not to bury us deep in misery but to teach us the valued lessons of life. Loving is always a learning process. With love, we learn how to care and sacrifice. We learn to share and reach out. We learn to be UNSELFISH AND GIVE MORE THAN WE CAN. And when everything doesn’t end well, we learn how it feels like to fall and get hurt. But learning doesn’t have to end there. After our fall, we strive to get back on our feet and move on. This is where we learn that: “LIFE DOESN’T END WHERE OUR HEARTACHES BEGIN.”

here's to the girls...

Stay strong,

and remember that relationships are like broken glass,

sometimes it’s better to leave it alone

rather than try to put the pieces back together

and get hurt all over again.

Remember the times you cried,

and how long it took you to even be able to look at another guy like that.

When your song comes on the radio,

turn the station off.

When the day comes that he realizes what a mistake he made and tries calling,

turn your phone off.

When he tries coming to your house,

don’t answer the door.

One day, you’ll find a guy who’s worth all the tears,

but he won’t make you cry.

You may think that you’ll never care about someone like you did

that guy that you always ran back to,

but you will.

It’s gonna hurt like hell,

and it’s going to need time to heal,

but the point is,

it will heal.

stop time

It’s true that love can wait forever

but it is crazy to stubbornly hope for someone who

doesn’t even care or understand how we feel.

Love makes us see things through rose-colored glasses.

Most of the time,

we fail to recognize the danger sign that light up along our way.

This feeling you have nurtured for so long

isn’t healthy anymore.

You must realize that you have to let go now

before it consumes you and your sanity.

There is always a time to think

and stop time to be sensible

and not allow our hearts

to rule over our heads.
