photographs of memories

Looking at pictures

sometimes makes

our hearts ache

because it reminds us

that these photos were

now merely a glimpse

of what it used to be.


It sad

to think

that what you saw on

those photos

could only

be something

that would never happen again.

Seeing faces

that would only tell

you that we used to have that smile

with those people...

and if you think of it,

only time will

tell if you'll ever cross paths with them again.


Lesson???


Cherish that person who you are with today,

because what you have right now

may only last for a moment. :)
