and therein lies the irony...

And the one who commits this emotional crime

is not someone you hate;


it is not even someone you dislike...

because the only person who is capable of breaking your heart


is the one who holds it precariously in their hands,

the one with whom you have shared your dreams,

your secrets,

your fears -

the one you love more than anybody else in the world.


And therein lies the irony...

a guy who loves you...

The guy who loves you can't actually state the reason why he does,

he only knows you're the only thing that matters next to his family.

The guy who loves you worries a lot when he can't hear a word from you

even after he just dropped you home,

only because he cares.

The guy who loves you apologizes

even if he knows you're wrong,

he just wants you to be happy.

A guy loves a girl when he knows what is best for both of them...

Let go even though it hurts...


Yet, he still hopes for a future with you.

I hate love

Have you ever been in love?

Horrible isn't it?

It makes you so vulnerable.

It opens your chest and it opens up your heart

and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up.

You build up all these defenses,

you build up a whole suit of armor,

so that nothing can hurt you,

then one stupid person,

no different from any other stupid person,

wanders into your stupid life...

You give them a piece of you.

They didn't ask for it.

They did something dumb one day,

like kiss you or smile at you,

and then your life isn't your own anymore.

Love takes hostages.

It gets inside you.

It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness,

so simple a phrase like 'maybe we should be just friends'

turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart.

It hurts.

Not just in the imagination.

Not just in the mind.

It's a soul-hurt,

a real gets-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart pain.

and you learn your true WORTH

After a while you learn the subtle difference



between holding a hand and chaining a soul...


And you learn that love doesnt mean leaning


and company doesnt mean security,


And you begin to learn that kisses arent contracts

and presents arent promises...


And you begin to accept your defeats with your head up

and your eyes open,



with the grace of an adult,


not the grief of a child.


And you learn to build all your roads on today


because tomorrows ground is too uncertain for plans.



After a while you learn that even


sunshine burns if you get too much.


So plant your garden


and decorate your own soul,


instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.


And you learn that you really are strong..

and you really do have worth.

the missing piece of the puzzle

Have you ever experienced a time in your life you felt so empty for no reason?

Weird, isn't it?


But that's the beauty of being human.

When people walk away from you. let them go.


Your destiny is never tied to anybody who leaves you.

And it doesn't mean that they are bad persons.


It just means that their part in your story is over..



( i guess, it would be easier to accept if we always bear this in mind after a heartbreak...)
