The Power of Time

It’s amazing how Time could erase every hurt or pain. But it somehow ends everything as it makes them impermanent. It has the power to heal but also, the power to hurt you through making you remember what it had finally brought to an end. It’s really so heartrending to notice that every time you come across a familiar scent, a song, or maybe a long-lost friend, every has-beens that you cherished for the past years just come back like a series of movie trailers. It makes you happy and at the same time sad, for while it surely brings you more vivid imagery than your memory could conjure, it reminds you in a nostalgic way that because of Time, beautiful things don’t really last.
